Configure AI providers and models in Web Nexus.

Supported Providers

Web Nexus supports multiple AI providers:

OpenAI

  • GPT-4o
  • GPT-4o Mini
  • GPT-4 Turbo
  • GPT-3.5 Turbo

Anthropic

  • Claude 3.5 Sonnet
  • Claude 3 Opus
  • Claude 3 Haiku

Google

  • Gemini 1.5 Pro
  • Gemini 1.5 Flash

xAI

  • Grok

OpenRouter

Access to 100+ models through a single API key.

Configuration

Adding an API Key

  1. Open Settings in the sidepanel
  2. Navigate to "Providers" tab
  3. Select your provider
  4. Enter your API key
  5. Click "Save"

Switching Models

You can switch models at any time:

  • Click the model selector in the input area
  • Choose a different model
  • Continue your conversation seamlessly

API Key Security

Your API keys are:

  • Stored locally in Chrome storage
  • Encrypted at rest
  • Never sent to our servers
  • Only used for direct API calls
